Lazy breakfast this morning (though longer to make than a bowl of cereal).
Cheese and bacon wraps, oh yes, I said it, cheese and bacon wraps.
So simple to make yet so ruddy tasty.
Take some shop bought pre-rolled puff pastry, un-roll it and cut it into six equal size pieces, now take a rasher (or two rashers side by side of U.S. bacon) and place diagonally, now take a thin (but not too thin) slice of mature cheese and place on top, now fold over the other corners on top (add a touch of pepper if you wish) and place in a pre-heated oven at 200c for 10-15 minutes (or till cooked, ie firm and does go limp when lifted).
Now enjoy.
Beautiful.

That is amazing. I love these! There’s a little bakery I usually go to for these things. Also, mature cheese is best cheese.

I want to say I hate you. But I can’t.

I felt mature cheese was the right one to go for. Stronger ex-matured cheese would of added further salt flavour to the bacon, medium wouldn’t of cut it and coloured cheese would of made it too greasy to handle.

Just finished a night shift and thought, ‘right something easy and tasty’, quick if you can wait the 10-15 minutes for them to cook.
There’s never a wrong time for cheese and bacon wraps.

Lol.
It was either this or chicken tikka masala with steamed rice.
I think I chose right.

That’s awesome. I’d want to eat that every day for the rest of my life (and if I did, my life expectancy would probably be much shorter).

Probably only mildly shorter but hey, we’ve all got to go sometime, what a good way to go, enjoying what great stuff life has to give.
